Let's get connected and share with the people we love and care !

Status updates on sites such as Facebook, Yammer, Twitter and Friendfeed are a new form of communication, the South by SouthWest Festival has heard.

Tens of millions of people are using social networks to stay in touch.

The growth in such services is being heralded as the start of the real-time, pervasive web.

With more than 175 million users Facebook is the dominant platform for status updates.

The complex nuances of relationships on social networks, with users having different degrees of openness with different friends or followers, further complicates the introduction of standards.

Serious security flaw found in IE

Users of Microsoft's Internet Explorer are being urged by experts to switch to a rival until a serious security flaw has been fixed.

The flaw in Microsoft's Internet Explorer could allow criminals to take control of people's computers and steal their passwords, internet experts say.

Microsoft urged people to be vigilant while it investigated and prepared an emergency patch to resolve it.

Internet Explorer is used by the vast majority of the world's computer users.

"Microsoft is continuing its investigation of public reports of attacks against a new vulnerability in Internet Explorer," said the firm in a security advisory alert about the flaw.

Microsoft says it has detected attacks against IE 7.0 but said the "underlying vulnerability" was present in all versions of the browser.

Other browsers, such as Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari, are not vulnerable to the flaw Microsoft has identified.

Lets promote Nepali Theatre !

Nepal is theatre of colors, rituals and folklores. A theatre that evolved among the lived experience of people who cultivated fields in the lush plains in the south, tilled terraced valleys in the hills, and kept herds in the high mountains. And around the time October- November, the nature adds beauty and the color of festivities provides energy in it. The color and the energy are reflected in theatre festivals that Aarohan-Gurukul organizes regularly.

Aarohan organizes International Theatre Festivals in every two years. It welcomes to the interested organizations or individuals from anywhere for their participation. It aims to provide a community environment for artists from all over the world to showcase their work.

Festival Dates November 11 - 27, 2008
